It Bites "calling all the heros" and Level 42 "something about you". Not particularly keen on either song other than they both take me back to Upton Park 85/86

Back of my dad's car. Every trip we ever took. No he never touched me up, he just played it al the time and the more my sisters and I complained the more he'd play it, adding commentary on how soulful and smooth etc it was and how we should appreciate it.

Rugby club disco in south London some meathead took a run up across the empty dance floor and threw his best punch unseen from the side putting me on my arse. I stumbled to my feet and could see someone coming towards me with a bottle in each hand then my mate bottled him and he dropped like a sack of shit. ended up like something out of the Wild West . My mate gooner asked me later over a pint if I remembered what was playing at the time I didn't know, he said Rod Stewart First cut is the deepest.

Well it's just one fuck up amongst many I've made so it kind of gets lost!
I spoke to her years after but she was still angry at me, ha!
I found her on FB a while ago and we spoke, she has kids etc now so it worked out for her.

Well neil that's one of my major fuck ups.
She really liked me, wrote me a long letter etc (I was only there 2 weeks)
I came back, met her in London after she flew over from L.A and she wanted to make a go of it, now i couldn't pull for shit so couldn't understand why she liked me and never got in touch with her after the meeting.
Ho hum!
